Grana Padano
Originated in the Po Valley (Val Padana), in northern Italy (Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia Romagna and Trento), it is one of the best italian cheeses due to its delicate but strong aroma. Dates to the XII century.
Made from pasteurized cow´s milk, free ranged let to graze on fresh forage. Hard crumbly
textured cheese, flaky, with no eyes. Cooked and ripened, its flavor is intense with a fragrant aroma, yellow hay color.
